Today, FIS and Visa, world leader in digital payments, announced a multi-year agreement where Visa becomes the new title partner of one of the most dynamic and exciting competitions in snow sports, in the lead up to Milano Cortina 2026.
Visa will sponsor the FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup for the next two seasons, beginning with the discipline’s debut in Mylin, China, on November 30. This partnership also offers opportunities for Visa's clients and cardholders, including hospitality packages, promotions, and discounts.
“It is a perfect match,” says FIS General Secretary, Michel Vion. “We are thrilled and honored to welcome Visa to the FIS family, particularly in the run-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 and as partners of one of our up-and-coming disciplines in Snowboard Alpine.”
“We are excited to partner with FIS bringing our brand, resources and experience to Alpine sports. As a long-standing champion and supporter of the Olympic and Paralympic movement and snow sports, we look forward to contributing to the excitement in the run up to Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games,” says Kim Kadlec, Chief Marketing Officer, Visa Europe.

Supporting Athletes on the Road to Milano Cortina 2026
Athletes are at the center of this collaboration as both brands are committed to support athletes in their pursuit of excellence on the world stage and inspire the next generation of sport enthusiasts.
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) manages snow sports disciplines that account for 55% of all medals distributed at the Olympic Winter Games, as well as 80% of those awarded at the Paralympic Winter Games.
Since 2000, Visa has championed nearly 700 Olympic and Paralympic athletes globally as part of the Team Visa Programme. These athletes are selected based on their athletic achievements, community involvement, and alignment with Visa’s core values of equality, access, and inclusion.
